    PRACTICE MANAGER

I've been on the ABCCS journey since 2021. Starting as a placement student, I found my groove as a part-time receptionist before taking on the role of Practice Manager in mid-2023.

My heart has always been in healthcare and supporting people, especially those in the neurodivergent community. Drawing from personal experiences with mental health, disability, and navigating the NDIS as both a caregiver and service provider, I bring a unique perspective to the table.

    ART GROUP FACILITATOR

    PEER SUPPORT PROVIDER

In February 2023, I was warmly embraced by ABCCS, where I assumed the roles of Art Group Facilitator and Peer Support Provider. My professional journey unfolds against a backdrop of creative arts, currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts at QUT, with aspirations to delve into a Masters of Art Therapy in 2026.

As an emerging artist, my passion lies in the exploration of both technical and conceptual facets of ceramics. My focus on sculpting involves handcrafting forms, accentuating the realms of subconscious creation and the reawakening of the inner child. This artistic direction is profoundly influenced by my personal experiences with disability, grief, health, and therapy.

Through my personal engagement with art therapy, I've unearthed a profound sense of grounding and self-awareness, compelling me to dedicate my life to facilitating others in exploring their inner worlds through creativity. Art, as a powerful vessel of communication, becomes a conduit for expressing emotions, experiences, and our perception of the world. ABCCS provides a secure space for clients to creatively express themselves, embracing discomfort and fostering social and community connections. In doing so, we empower individuals to comprehend and take control of their traumas or discomforts, positively impacting their overall well-being.

My mission is to inspire and empower people to embrace their creative freedom without the burdens of pressure or expectations, recognizing that we can't all be Picasso. Supported by ABCCS, my unwavering commitment is to instigate meaningful changes in people's lives, initiate open dialogues, and ensure the best practices for each individual's well-being.
